How to Upload Tracking Information via CSV File in EasyChannel

Easily update tracking details for multiple eCommerce transactions using a CSV file.

Step 1: Prepare Your CSV File

Make sure each shipment is represented in a row of your CSV file with the following information:

  • Tracking Number: The shipment’s unique tracking code.

  • Carrier Name: The name of the shipping provider (use the exact spelling from EasyChannel).

  • Order Details: Either:

    • Order ID and Item ID, or

    • Transaction ID.

Example CSV Format:

Step 2: Upload Your CSV File

  1. Sync your orders in EasyChannel.

  2. Navigate to the Tracking CSV page.

  3. Click the Update Tracking CSV button.

  4. In the upload window:

    • Choose your CSV file.

    • Specify if your file uses Order ID & Item ID or Transaction ID.

  5. Map your CSV column headers to the fields in EasyChannel.

  6. Set fallback values if needed (e.g., if all rows use the same carrier, set the fallback value instead of adding the carrier name to every row).


Done!

Your tracking details are now updated. Following these steps ensures smooth and accurate tracking updates for your eCommerce transactions.
