1. What is FBA and MCF?

  • Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is Amazon’s logistics program where Amazon stores, picks, packs, and ships your products. It provides Prime-level shipping, tracking, and customer support.

  • With Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) in EasyChannel, you can use your Amazon FBA inventory to fulfill orders from other channels like eBay, Shopify, or Walmart. When an order is placed outside Amazon, EasyChannel automatically routes it to FBA for fulfillment and syncs tracking back to the customer.

2. How EasyChannel Supports FBA Products

When you connect your Amazon account in EasyChannel:

  • An FBA warehouse is automatically created in your account.

  • EasyChannel continuously syncs your FBA inventory levels.

  • If a product has FBA stock, that stock is automatically assigned to the FBA warehouse in EasyChannel.

⚠️ Important: FBA inventory cannot be manually edited in EasyChannel — it is always synced directly from Amazon.

This ensures your catalog always shows accurate FBA stock across every connected channel.

3. FBA Automation: Settings and Behavior

Turning on Automation

  • Go to Products Catalog > Integrations > Channel Settings.

  • Open your Amazon integration settings.

  • Toggle Enable FBA order fulfillment automation.

  • Choose your default shipping method (e.g., Standard Shipping).

  • Optional settings include:

    • Exclude Amazon Logistics carrier if you don’t want Amazon-branded shipping.

    • Use unbranded packaging for a neutral delivery experience.

  • Decide whether to:

    • Fulfill FBA orders for all channels, or

    • Select specific channels where automation should apply.

What Happens When Automation is On

  • Orders from selected channels are automatically routed to Amazon FBA.

  • Tracking updates flow back into EasyChannel and sync with the original order.

  • Inventory from FBA is made available across your connected marketplaces.

What Happens When Automation is Off or Excluded

  • If automation is disabled (globally or per channel), FBA inventory will not be sent to that channel.

  • Example:

    • You have 50 FBA units in Amazon.

    • If automation is off for Shopify, your Shopify listing will show 0 units to prevent overselling.

  • This gives you precise control over which channels can use FBA inventory.

Conclusion: Why This Matters

With EasyChannel’s Amazon MCF automation, you can:

  • Expand FBA to multiple sales channels automatically.

  • Keep inventory and pricing accurate without manual updates.

  • Decide where your FBA stock is available.

  • Deliver Prime-speed fulfillment to customers no matter where they order.

In short, EasyChannel’s MCF automation helps sellers save time, reduce errors, and scale their business with the reliability of Amazon FBA.
