An ASIN Exemption allows you to list products on Amazon through EasyChannel without needing an ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number). This exemption is typically granted to sellers of private label, unbranded, or handmade products.

Follow these steps to configure your Amazon Mapping Template for ASIN-exempt products:

Step 1: Navigate to the Mapping Template Section

  1. Log in to your EasyChannel account.

  2. Go to the Mapping Template section, located under the Product Settings heading.

Step 2: Edit Your Amazon Template

  1. Locate your Amazon Template from the list.

  2. Click the Edit button to open the template editing screen.

Step 3: Configure Product ID Fields

Within the template editor, update the following fields:

  • Product ID Type

    • Select ASIN from the Valid Values menu provided.

  • Product ID Value

    • Enter the text value CUSTOM in this field.

      • This indicates to both EasyChannel and Amazon that an ASIN Exemption is being applied.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

  1. Once the fields are configured, click Save to save the template.

  2. Your Amazon Mapping Template is now ready for publishing ASIN-exempt products.

You’re all set! With this configuration, you can successfully list your ASIN-exempt products on Amazon through EasyChannel.
