The AI Custom Prompt action runs one prompt on every product you tick and saves the answer to the product field you choose. Use it to fill a missing attribute, write a title in a fixed format, or turn one field into another.

How do I open the AI Custom Prompt window?
In Product Catalog, tick the products.
Click AI (next to Bulk Actions) and choose AI Custom Prompt.
The window Generate Attribute Value with AI opens. It “lets you generate content with AI prompts and save it to any product attribute”.
How do I write the prompt?
Start from a preset under Prompt Presets, or type your own prompt.
Click a field under Insert Dynamic Fields (for example Product Title, Description or Brand) to add it to the prompt. Each product then sends its own value. Click View All for every field.
Under Save AI Output To, pick the product field that receives the answer.
Click Preview to try the prompt on the first selected product.

Click Save Prompt as Preset to keep your own prompt for next time.
💡 Tell the AI exactly which answers are allowed and what to return when it can't find one. For example: "From the title and description, return the shirt size: Small, Medium, Large or Extra Large. If none fits, return Unknown."
Which options can I set?
Only update empty attributes: leave products that already have a value alone.
Include variations: run the prompt on each variation too.
Add tags to the products after the AI content is created and approved.
Save Options: Save changes to catalog only. or Save changes to catalog and revise linked listings.
Skip AI approval: save the answers straight away instead of reviewing them first.
Click Generate with AI to run it.
How many AI credits does it cost?
Before you start, the window shows your Remaining AI Credits and what the run will cost. With one product ticked it said “Using this bulk action will cost 1 AI credit”. Each Preview costs 1 AI credit too.
