How do I translate my products with AI?
In the Product Catalog, tick the box next to each product you want to translate.
Click AI and choose Generate Titles, Generate Descriptions or Generate Bullet Points. The Generate AI Content window opens.
Under What would you like to generate?, tick each part you want: Product Title, Product Description or Product Bullet Points.
Click Advanced View next to each ticked part.
Open the language box, which shows English by default, and choose the language you want.
Optional: set the length and tone, or type your own instructions in the prompt box.
Click Generate.
The language list has more than 100 languages, including German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Japanese and Chinese. Each part has its own language box, so set it for every part you tick.
How do I keep my original title?
By default, the AI writes over your product title, description or bullet points. The window warns that changing the main title is risky: it applies to all channels that don't have their own mapping.
To keep the original, choose another place under Save Title to (or Save Description to, Save Bullet Point #1 to and so on). You can pick a Product Property such as Subtitle, or one of your Custom Attributes.
Do I approve the results, and what does it cost?
The AI results wait for your approval. To save them straight away, tick Skip AI Approvals.
The bottom of the window shows your Remaining AI Credits and how many credits this action will cost. You can buy more AI credits on the billing page.
Tick Include Variations to include the products' variations.
⭐ The AI works from your product data, such as the title, description, brand and category. If a product has too little data, the action can fail.
FAQ
Will my live listings change?
The AI changes the products in your catalog. To send the changes to listings that are already live, use a Revise action. See How to Revise Listings in EasyChannel.
Can I translate many products at once?
Yes. Tick all the products before you open the AI menu. The window shows how many products the action applies to.
