A product is an item in your Product Catalog. You create it once, and then publish it to any channel you have connected. This article shows how to create a product by hand.

How do I open the Create Product screen?
Click Product Catalog in the left menu.
Click New Product at the top.
Choose Create Product Manually.
The Create Product screen opens. The product title, SKU and Catalog Tags are at the top. The list on the left jumps to each section of the product.
Which fields do I have to fill in?
Four fields are marked Required under General Details:
SKU: up to 40 characters. Type your own, or click Generate SKU.
Title: up to 240 characters. The AI button next to it can write one for you.
Condition: set to New by default.
Catalog Category: the category of the product in your catalog.
What are the other sections for?

Media | Product images, and one video: an MP4 up to 150MB and no longer than 3 minutes. The video is sent to channels that support listing video, such as eBay. |
Identifiers | UPC, EAN, GTIN and ASIN, with more under Show more. |
Pricing | Price, MSRP, Cost, Currency, Wholesale Price, Business Price, Floor Price and Ceiling Price. |
Description | The description, a short description and up to five bullet points. Each has an AI button. |
Size and Weight | Product and package weight and dimensions, in Lbs/Inch or Kg/Cm. |
Inventory | On hand, reserved and available quantity, and the channels your inventory syncs to. Use Edit Inventory to change it. |
Internal Notes | Internal notes about the product. |
Variations | Sizes, colors and other options. Click Add Product Variations. |
Additional Channel Specs | GPSR details and policies for each eBay account (Add GPSR, Add Policies). |
Custom Attributes | Extra fields for your product. Click Add Custom Attribute. |
How do I save the product?
When you start typing, Cancel, Save & Exit and Save appear at the bottom of the screen. Click Save or Save & Exit.
The product is now in your Product Catalog. It is not on any marketplace yet.
How do I publish the product to a channel?
In the Product Catalog, tick the box next to the product.
Click Publish To Channel.
Choose the channel and follow the steps.

FAQ
Can I create products without typing each one?
Yes. New Product also has Create with AI options: Images to Products, URLs to Products, Titles to Products, Identifiers to Products and Scan Barcode. To bring in products from a file, use Import at the top of the Product Catalog.
Why can't I use the + next to Catalog Product?
It works only after the product is saved. Until then it shows “Save product to use this action”.
Where are my drafts?
EasyChannel has no Drafts tab. A product you have not published is your draft. See Products and Live Listings (Formerly Drafts).
