Inventory Management is a crucial aspect of any business and with EasyChannel's Inventory Management Tools you can make sure product levels stay updated and accurate without the hassle. So, let's familiarize ourselves with the Inventory Management workspace and see what it has to offer but we dive in deeper in the following articles.

The Inventory Management Workspace

  • The Inventory Management workspace is located in the Products tab. To get there first select Products from the far-left menu, then using the secondary menu scroll down to the Inventory Management menu, as shown here.

  • This menu contains your Inventory Mangement tools and workspace, for the purpose of this guide we're going to start in chronological order and start with the Inventory Management screen.

Inventory Management Screen

  • The first screen of our workspace is the Inventory Management screen. This is where you can update your inventory, set your sync settings, and view your current inventory.

  • The On Hand, Available, and Reserved columns show your current inventory levels and allow you to manually edit your On Hand product levels.

  • Your Inventory Update button allows you to bulk update Inventory for the selected products. Just select the desired products from the left-hand column, as marked in the image below and then click the Inventory Update button.

  • A pop-up will prompt you to select the warehouse you wish to update from and the new quantity to be added, as shown here. Once you have added in your quantity you can click the blue Update button to save your changes and update your inventory.

  • To learn how to update your inventory using CSV files, Click Here

  • The Inventory Sync Settings by Channel button will be covered in a separate section in this article, here.

Warehouses Screen

  • The second tab is the Warehouses Screen. This is where you can add warehouses and edit your warehouses. It can be reached by selecting the middle Warehouses option from the Inventory Management menu, as shown below.

  • To add a warehouse choose Add a Warehouse as seen here.

  • Fill out all required fields and then select Create Warehouse.

  • You should now see a Success message in the lower right corner and the new warehouse should be added to your warehouse workspace.

  • To select which of our warehouses we want to use as our default we will just click the star of the corresponding warehouse in the Actions column. In this example we will set our newly created warehouse as the default.

  • To edit our new warehouse we will use the Notepad icon, which is the next icon over.

  • This will bring up the edit window which will allow you to edit any of the original information you set about your warehouse location.

  • The final icon, is Trash icon, which will remove your warehouse from EasyChannel completely.

  • All product quantities MUST be deleted before you can remove a warehouse.

Logs Screen

  • The last screen of the workspace is the Logs Screen. This is where all the Logs generated from the Inventory Tools will be stored. We reach this workspace by selecting the bottom tab of the Inventory Management menu.

Inventory Sync Settings

  • To set your Inventory Sync Settings across your connected storefronts, first navigate to the Inventory Management workspace, pictured here.

  • Next, in the top right-hand corner, click the Inventory Sync Settings for Channel button, we've marked it in red here.

  • Next, select the storefront you'd like to adjust the sync settings for. In this example we will use an eBay store. Notice how Inventory Sync is by default turned off.

  • You will now be able to turn on Sync to allow EasyChannel Inventory Management to update your storefront when changes are made in your Product Catalog.

  • Select which settings you'd like to turn on and then hit Save to apply the changes.

  • Select the Inventory Sync Settings button again to confirm if Inventory Sync has been turned on for your storefront.
