Products and Live Listings (Formerly Drafts)

EasyChannel has no Drafts tab now. Keep unlisted items as products in the Product Catalog and use Publish To Channel to make them live listings.

Written by Avi Assa

EasyChannel no longer has a Drafts tab. An item you are not selling yet is a product in your Product Catalog, and it is not on any marketplace. When you publish it with Publish To Channel, it becomes a live listing on that channel and shows in Listings.

In this article:

Where did Drafts go?

The Listings menu has no Drafts segment. Its segments are All, Active, Scheduled and Listings with Errors, with more under Show more.

What used to be a draft is now a product in the Product Catalog that you have not published yet. What used to be a live listing is a listing in the Listings page.

How do I create a product?

  1. Click Product Catalog in the left menu.

  2. Click New Product at the top.

  3. Choose Create Product Manually, or one of the Create with AI options: Images to Products, URLs to Products, Titles to Products, Identifiers to Products or Scan Barcode.

The product stays in your catalog, and off every marketplace, until you publish it.

How do I publish a product to a channel?

  1. In the Product Catalog, tick the box next to each product you want to list.

  2. Click Publish To Channel. The button stays greyed out until at least one product is ticked.

  3. Under Channel, choose the store to list on.

  4. Check the Mapping Template. It controls how your product details are sent to that channel.

  5. Fill in the Required Steps. For eBay this is the item location: Country, City, Region and Postal Code.

  6. Click Save and Continue and finish the remaining steps.

Where do I find my live listings?

Click Listings in the left menu. Active shows what is live, Scheduled shows listings set to go live later, and Listings with Errors shows listings a channel did not accept.
